NHCN Annual Meeting

The NHCN Annual Meeting provides a networking and collaborative space for people working in corrections and public health to discuss hepatitis C testing, treatment, and linkage to care in corrections. The annual meeting is a great forum to learn, share data and resources, and begin to collaborate on new projects.

The NHCN annual meeting operates in partnership with the Academic and Health Policy on Correctional Health.

Our 3rd Annual Meeting will be in Boston in March 2015, stay tuned!

What's up with the Academic and Health Policy Conference on Correctional Health Care?
The Academic and Health Policy Conference on Correctional Health Care is separate from the NHCN annual meeting but will take place on March 20th and 21st at the same hotel. Many attendees from the NHCN meeting will attend this conference, but it is optional and you must pay your own conference registration fee and other lodging costs.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel (map and directions)?
Complementary Shuttle ServiceThe hotel runs a complimentary shuttle between the Hilton Houston North and Houston Intercontinental Airport. The shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes from the courtesy vehicle pickup areas in all terminals. The hotel requests you call them once you land and collect your luggage so they can direct you to the shuttle and let you know the next pickup time. Dial 281-875-2222.

Taxi - approximate taxi cost is $25 from Houston Intercontinental Airport.

If renting a car, the hotel is only 8 miles from Houston Intercontinental Airport. See more information including maps and directions by clicking HERE.

How do I get reimbursed for airfare and hotel rooms?
If you made prior arrangments with the NHCN to be reimbursed for travel, please see below. Not all meeting participants are eligible for reimbursement, if you haven't made prior arrangements you may disregard this section.

Airfare: Please submit this reimbursement form to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  along with a copy of your flight receipt.

Hotel: You should not need to be reimbursed for your hotel, all rooms will be charged to the NHCN master account. Charges cover room rate and tax only for two nights, March 18th and March 19th. It wouldn't hurt when you check in at the hotel to let the Hilton know to charge your room on those nights to the NHCN master account. If staying for the Health Policy Conference, you are responsible for your own rooms on March 20th and 21st.

Can I bring a friend or coworker to the meeting?
